Shipping and Delivery Policy for Genesis DNA

Thank you for purchasing our DNA Test Kits (“Products”).
Terms used in this Shipping and Delivery Policy are defined in our Terms and Conditions.
To serve you better, Genesis DNA will begin to process your order immediately you click the Submit Order button.
1. Processing Guidelines
a) All Products on the Website are subject to availability and payment being received before your order is processed.
b) We will contact you if the Product you have ordered is out of stock, or if additional identification is needed for credit card verification.
2. Shipping and Tracking Number
a) We offer free of charge shipment globally. All orders are shipped free of charge through Royal Mail or any other suitable shipping carrier.
b) When you place your order, we will endeavour to dispatch your order within one working day. Depending on your location delivery times will differ. Estimated delivery times are as follows:
2 – 3 working days for deliveries in UK
3 – 5 working days for deliveries in Europe
5 – 10 working days for deliveries outside of Europe
c) Please note that the delivery dates stated on the order page are approximate and for guidance purposes only. Actual delivery dates may vary
d) Once your order is shipped, we will send you a tracking number through email.
a) You are required to inspect the delivered Product once you receive you order and ensure that the Product is in an “as expected” condition.
b) In the event they are not in an “as expected” condition, please Contact Us as soon as possible, with all necessary information, including photographic proof of any defects if requested by us.
4. Test Swab Returns
a) The Product you receive includes a prepaid return envelope that must be used when returning the test swabs.
b) After you collect the required test samples, you must enclose the test swabs in the envelope and post it to us. It is important that you strictly use the prepaid return envelope.
c) Please note that you are under a duty to take reasonable care of the test swabs and will be liable for damage to them until we receive them at our offices, approximately 2 – 10 days after postage.
d) Please note that the prepaid return envelope does not feature any tracking information. Upon receipt of your swabs we will send you a confirmation email.
5. Shipping Errors / Damaged Product
a) We are committed to delivering only high-quality Products. To that end, we employ several quality checks before a Product is shipped.
b) If you have received a wrong or damaged Product, please Contact Us within 7 days of receiving the order to be eligible for a free exchange with a free replacement Product.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
a) You may cancel your Products order within 14 days from the purchase date by Contacting Us.
b) After we receive your cancellation notice, you will need to return the Product in its original packaging, unopened and with the hologram, and all stickers intact. We are not able to accept a cancellation after the DNA test has been processed.
c) Please note that if the Product has been opened, used or the hologram and stickers are damaged/missing, then you will be liable for payment of 15% of the total Product cost.
d) After we receive your return, we will process your refund within a period of 14 days from the date of receipt. We will use the same payment method for the refund as you have been using when you paid for the Product.
7. Events outside our control
We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations if caused by events outside our reasonable control, including (but not restricted to) fire, flood, severe weather, explosion, war, act of terrorism, industrial dispute, or acts of local or central Government or other competent authorities.
